Request deletion of your data

1. Delete a customer account

   Account owners can request deletion of the account and all of their business's data by email to support@appoint4u.com. Please write from the email address stored in the account so we can match the request.Export what you want to keep first: appointments, conversations and contacts under “Einstellungen” → “Daten exportieren” (settings → export data). Please cancel a running plan under “Vertrag & Rechnungen” (plan & invoices); we then delete the account at the end of the paid term unless you ask otherwise. We confirm receipt and delete within 30 days.

2. You messaged or booked with a business

   The business that uses appoint4u is responsible for your messages and bookings. Please contact that business first; its contact details are in its legal notice and in the privacy notice of its booking page. You can also send your request to support@appoint4u.com: we forward it to the business and delete as it instructs.Independently of this, the service deletes messages automatically once they are older than the period the business set. You can stop automatic messages with “STOP” (WhatsApp) or /stop (Telegram).

3. Disconnect WhatsApp

   Businesses can disconnect WhatsApp at any time in their account under “WhatsApp”; the stored access is deleted immediately. The app's permission can additionally be removed in the Facebook settings under “Apps and websites”.

4. What we must keep

   Because of statutory duties we keep invoices and accounting records for eight years and business letters for six years (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB, § 14b UStG). We block these data for any other use. Deleted data may remain in backups until these are overwritten in the regular cycle.

5. Confirmation

   Once deletion is complete you receive a confirmation by email. Questions: support@appoint4u.com.
